Know Your Enemies!

The dragon, Eitilt, hovered above us. A sentinel. A testimony as to who could be trusted. Not that I trusted Aed, but apparently Eitilt, did. “Rowan wants me to spy on Roland.”

“He wants you to start a war,” Aed smirked.

“Does it matter? I will have to go and see him. Alone.”

“If you won’t take your guards, take your blade. Make sure you piss on his rock. First thing, as proof that you have been there.”

The laughter died in my throat. “You think Rowan will physically check? He never travels afar.”

Aed swallowed. “He will for this.”
